R & T Enterprises 10in Dual Subwoofer Bandpass Competition Class Empty Enclosure Reviews
| By wailerjeffro "jeffrodesiac" (b-town) - See all my reviews This review is from: R & T Enterprises 10in Dual Subwoofer Bandpass Competition Class Empty Enclosure (Electronics) Bandpass boxes sound great with Reggae, rap, and rock music. I don't listen to much else, but it probably sounds great. Set your sub-woofer cutoff frequency around 100-120hz and start jamming. Great construction and fast shipping. The bass lines of reggae greats Aston Barrett,Robbie Shakespeare, and George Fullwood (to name but a few) never sounded better. Do yourself a favor and pick up 2 10" woofers and start jamming. Well worth the money for the sound you will get with this box. Plus, it won't take up your entire trunk of your car. I drive a toyota camry and I still have loads of room in the trunk even with this box. Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: R & T Enterprises 10in Dual Subwoofer Bandpass Competition Class Empty Enclosure (Electronics) shipped a lot quicker than i thought it would. kind of a pain in the ass to put the subs in because of the angle the screws are going in at. be careful with the Plexiglas because it can crack but the box comes with a paper than warns you not to tighten the screws to much. i don't recommend bigger higher wattage subs like type rs or high end kicker. because where the port is there is not much room for a huge magnet. the terminal cups aren't the greatest and i plan on changing them. they're just the push release terminals but they aren't bad. its fairly light for what it is. a lot lighter than my single 10 ported box. would be nice if it came with screws for the subs. but overall my subs (depending on what YOU get) sound amazing! |
